Administrative reshuffle in Bihar

Patna, Nov 10: The Bihar government has transferred 46 additional District Magistrates and 51 Sub-Divisonal officers to beef up administrative work before the coming elections.

Government orders issued here last night said all transfers would be effective from today. The officials had been asked to take up their new assignments at the earliest.

However,describing the step as a routine affair,official sources said following the reshuffle almost all ADMs and SDOs had been shifted to new districts as part of the government effort to strengthen its developmental and other work.
