VK Malhotra clears air on assets

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate for Delhi V K Malhotra denied allegations carried in a section of the media about the worth of his movable and immovable assets.

A press release issued by the BJP leader said, ''My father gifted me property in Nizamuddin and some cash before he passed away in 2005. Further, I disposed of my house in Saket allotted by the DDA and my wife sold her flat on K G Marg to purchase a flat in Defence colony by availing some loan.'' He claimed that all the assets had been duly declared for tax purposes and Parliament was informed about it from time to time.
