Two militants held in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 9 (UNI) Assam Rifles (AR) today nabbed two militants from separate locations in the state and handed over to police.

Police said, a cadre of People's United Liberation Front (PULF- Azad) identified as Zaius Khan was apprehended in Thoubal district during an operation by the AR troops.

In another incident AR troops launched operation in Chamol,Chandel and apprehended one United National Liberation Front (UNLF) cadre.

During the interrogation it came to light that he is an active member of UNLF and had moved from Onjiya to Imphal for medical treatment. He joined the outfit in 2003.
