Seven live bombs found in Jalna

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 9 (UNI) Seven live crude bombs were found in Manjargaon village of Jalna district in Marathwada region of Maharashtra today, leading to panic in the area, police said.

Acting on a tip-off that several bombs were hidden in a heap of fodder near a religious place in the village, 50 kms from here, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads of Jalna and Aurangabad jointly launched a combing-operation and recovered the bombs.

Police inspector Subhash Joshi, who led the combing operation, told UNI that no arrests have been made so far in this regard and investigations were on.
