'Prasadam' coupons to be issued through bank branches
Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 9 (UNI) Pilgrims visiting the famous Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala would get coupons for 'prasadam' through the branches of the Dhanalakshmi Bank across the country.
The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), which governs the temple, has taken steps to issue 'prasadam' coupons through branches of the bank during the current Madalam-Makaravilakku festival season to avoid long queues for getting them from the temple complex.
Kerala Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran would launch the programme handing over the coupons to bank Managing Director Amithab Chathurvedi, at a function to be held at the TDB headquarters here tomorrow, according to a TDB press release.
