NCC cadets to be deployed at polling centre

Bhopal, Nov 9 (UNI) Senior National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets would be deployed at polling centres in Madhya Pradesh along with police personnel to discipline voters and maintain them in queue, official sources said today.

Honorarium would be provided to these NCC cadets as per the directions of the Election Commission.

The EC had made it clear that senior NCC cadets would be deployed in their districts only and their duty would be only on the day of polling. The EC had announced that polling day as holiday for them.

The state government would bear the expense of their transportation.
