MP ministers misused funds: Cong

Bhopal, Nov 9 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today alleged that the state's ministers ''misused'' government funds amounting to Rs 2.5 crore over the past one-and-a-half years by travelling in private aircraft.

''Instead of using the government plane and helicopters, the ministers used private aircraft and paid from the exchequer,'' MPCC spokesman J P Dhanopia told journalists here today.

He demanded an inquiry into misappropriation of government funds to benefit private companies.
