EC sets conditions for opening temporary office by political parties
Jabalpur, Nov 9 (UNI) The Election Commission has laid down certain conditions for setting temporary offices for the purpose of campaigning by candidates.
The EC has barred encroachment of private or public property for opening temporary office or running it from the premises of religious places, educational institutes including schools or colleges, and hospitals.
Such temporary office could not be located within 200 metre radius of any polling centre.
Besides, only one flag bearing symbol of political party and one 4X8 feet size banner could be displayed at the office.
The administrative team has been asked to see that the conditions were followed.
