Dispute over liquor distillery claims two lives
Berhampur, Nov 9 (UNI) Two people were killed today when a group of people attacked them with swords, lathis and other weapons following the dispute over a tender of a liquor distillery.
Police said while one person killed on the spot, another succumbed to his injuries at the MAC Medical College and Hospital Berhampur. Another person was injured in the attack.
The crime happened near Kusumi village under Golanthara police station of Ganjam district.
The deceased identified as Jayaram Sahu of Indrakhi village and Gangadhar Sahu of Daspur village.
Manoj Sahu was admitted to MKCG Medical college and hospital with serious injuries.
