3 held for betting on India-Australia Nagpur test
Rajkot, Nov 9 (UNI) Three people were arrested for accepting bets on the ongoing fourth test match between Australia and India at Nagpur, from Chotila taluka in Surendranagar district.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a rented house near Garasia street and arrested Bhavesh Pandya (40), Amit Thakkar (36) and Dharmendra Pujara (20) while accepting bets, yesterday.
Police also seized 17 mobile phones, one colour TV, one laptop, a Maruti Car and cash worth Rs 12,200 from them.
