Village head killed, accused arrested

Lucknow, Nov 8 (UNI) The head of Palia Lohani Pasinpurva village was today killed by assailants in Inayatnagar district police station area of Faizabad.

According to the information given by the office of Director General of Police, Sarvadin Rawat (54) was attacked with an iron pipe by one Ram Sumiran Upadhyay, resident of Palia Lohani, along with accomplices. He died on spot.

After a case was filed in this regard, prime accused Ram Sumiran was arrested.

Investigations reveal that the motive of the murder was personal enmity.
