TN Govt Lankan Tamils Relief Fund touches Rs 19.24 cr

Chennai, Nov 8 (UNI) The Sri Lankan Tamils Relief Fund, collected by the DMK Government in Tamil Nadu has touched Rs 19.24 crore today.

Through Transport Minister K N Nehru, employees of various state transport corporations and organisations, donated a sum of Rs 4.60 crore to Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

DMK MP K C Palanisamy presented Rs 3.21 lakh and on behalf of KCP group Rs 5 lakh, while the Fire Service Department donated Rs 5.75 lakh and film director K S Ravikumar Rs One lakh, an official release here said.
