Slight intensity tremors in W Bengal

New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) A slight intensity earthquake was felt in West Bengal tonight.

According to the Meteorological department, the magnitude of the quake on the Richter scale, which occurred at about 2222 hrs, was 3.7.

The tremor was epicentred at 23.5 degree north latitude and 87.3 degree east longitude, the department said.

There were no immediate reports of any damage or casualty, it added.
