Now CPI accuses Karma of bribery

Raipur, Nov 8 (UNI) Communist Party of India Chhattisgarh Secretary C L Patel today accused Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly and the Congress' Dantewada candidate Mahendra Karma of violating the Model Code of Conduct in this poll-bound state.

''Mr Karma is moving about the constituency with a bag of currency notes and he is thereby attempting to lure voters in rural areas. An English national daily's representatives even captured this on camera,'' Mr Patel said in a statement issued here.

A case was registered yesterday, under the Representation of the People Act, against Mr Karma in this regard.
