Farmers get ready to face coming problems: Sharad Joshi

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 8 (UNI) The president of Shetkari Sanghatna and MP Sharad Joshi today appealed to farmers to be prepared to face hardships due to the current global economic slowdown.

Addressing a joint convention of the farmers held at Garware ground here, he said the farmers were given loan waiver, but it could not benefit them in reality.

He said this convention will decide a new direction for the farmers of the country.

Thousands of farmers across the state arrived here to participate in the convention.

Earlier, Mr Joshi inaugurated an exhibition on 'Globo- Agrovision'. In the exhibition, the farmers will be made aware about the new technology in the field of agriculture, seeds and ethanol.
