Congress nominee out of race
Raisen, MP, Nov 8 (UNI) Former Congress minister Jaswant Singh has found himself out of the contest by not submitting the B Form authorising himself as Congress candidate in the assembly election from Silwani constituency of Madhya Pradesh's Raisen district.
He also failed to become an independent candidate as his nomination was proposed by only five people instead of mandatory ten. Election office sources said that Jaswant Singh did not submit the B Form till the deadline at 1500 hours yesterday.
Silwani constituency Returning Officer J S Dhurve told over telephone that Mr Singh has lost the elegibility to contest the polls.
