Assembly winter session from November 26
Bhubaneswar, Nov 8 (UNI) The winter session of the Orissa Assembly will commence from November 26.
State Panchayati Raj Minister Raghunath Mohanty here said the session would continue till December 31 and would have 27 sittings.
The session, considered to be the last of this government, is likely to be stormy.
Among other issues, likely to dominate the proceedings, are the killing of Swami Laxamananda Saraswati, communal riots in Kandhmal, the Centre's threat to impose Article 355 and 356 and restoration and rehabiliation work in the flood-affected areas.
