AP Minister offers worship at Simachalam temple

Visakhapatnam, Nov 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister J Ratnakara Rao offered worship at the Simhachalam shrine on the occasion of the nine-day Sri Sudarsana Nrisimha Mahayagam function, which began at the temple here today.

Sri Varaha Swamy Devasthanam Executive Officer C Prem Kumar said yagam was conducted for the universal peace and prosperity of the mankind.

A large number of devotees witnessed Mahayagam.

Steps were taken to provide necessary facilities, including food and accommodation for the pilgrims, Mr Kumar added.
