Administration should be transparent: Police
Tiruchirapalli, Nov 8 (UNI) City Police Commissioner Alexander Mohan today said administration should be transparent and facilitate the process for visitors seeking information in offices.
Speaking at the 'Vigilance Awareness Week' celebrations oraganised at BHEL here, he said corruption was prevalent in sanctioning loans, disbursing pension and offering benefits. The Vigilance and Security personnel should initiate measures to develop a sysem in a phased manner, he added.
V Ananthakrishnan, ED, BHEL, in his presidential address, said safety measures were essential to safeguard the interests of organisations.
The companies should strengthen competition and ensure quality-oriented service to prevent corruption, Mr Ananthakrishnan added.
