Uma owns more than Rs 60 lakh property
Tikamgarh, MP, Nov 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti owns property worth more than Rs 60 lakh as per an affidavit submitted by her today along with nomination papers for Tikamgarh Assembly constituency.
Ms Bharti possesses about Rs 75,000 in hand besides Rs 10.40 lakh in two savings bank accounts and Rs 3.39 lakh as fixed deposit. The sadhvi, who deposits annual insurance premium of about Rs 1.5 lakh, does not own a car but possesses six kg of worship-related utensils and jewellery made of gold and silver together costing Rs 8 lakh.
She owns three acres of agricultural land worth Rs 1.5 lakh in this district's Dunda village, two local plots costing Rs 6 lakh, a residence costing Rs 35 lakh and a house worth Rs 2 lakh at Dunda.
Ms Bharti also provided details of cases registered against her.
