Two construction workers electrocuted in Haryana
Jagadhri, Nov 7 (UNI) Two construction workers were killed while two others sustained burn injuries after being electrocuted in Bilaspur village this morning.
According to police sources, the workers were constructing a staircase to the upper portion of the building when they came in contact with the high tension wires passing overhead.
While two workers, Vishal and Vivip died on the spot, two others were rushed to the civil hospital here. However one of the injured workers, Pappu, was later refered to PGI, Chandigarh as his condition was stated to be serious.
The two deceased workers were from Jharkhand.
The police has registered a case against the building contractor.
