TRAI extends date for sending comments on 'Media Ownerhsip'

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today extended the last date for sending comments on the consultation paper on 'Media Ownership' to November 25.

It had released the consultation paper on September 23 and written comments of the stakeholders on it were invited by October 24. However, the date was later extended to November 10.

TRAI decided for further extension of the date on the request of stakeholders.

All stakeholders are invited to participate in an Open House Discussions on the consultation paper which will be held on December 2 at India Habitat Centre here at 1100 hrs, the telecom regulator said in a release here.
