Salem: Kanjamalai forest for mining not right

Salem, Nov 7: Kanjamalai reserve forest area for mining??? This move by the Tamil Nadu Govt has raised protests by members of the Tamizhaga Adivasigal Iyakkam and Kurinji Mahalir Iyakkam.

At a time when the forest cover in the country was depleting fast, the Union and State governments were trying to handover a reserved forest area for mining.
