Procession to condemn killing of Tamils in Lanka

Puducherry, Nov 7(UNI)The Puducherry-based Manitha Neya Makkal Seva Iyyakkam organised a silent procession here last night to condemn the killing of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka and also the attack on the Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Lankan Navy.

Sporting black badges, carrying lit candles and holding placards, the silent procession commenced at the statue of Veteran CPI Leader V Subbiah.

It passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated in front of the head post office here.
