Dr Mishra appeals to Guv to help improve educational secnario
Patna, Nov 7(UNI) Former Bihar Chief Minister and senior JD(U) leader Jagannath Mishra today urged Governor R L Bhatiya to initiate steps to help improve the state's educational scenario.
Dr Mishra called on the Governor at the Rajbhavan here and apprised him of the actual educational situation of the state.
He said development of the state was impossible without improving the educational scenario. Over 8,000 posts of professors at college and university level were lying vacant since 1996,he stated and research work and educational activities were being hampered in the universities,he added.
He said the educational policies of the state needs to be changed.
