BJP to launch country's largest political website for Advani

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party will launch a political portal on the Internet - www.lkadvani.in - for its prime ministerial candidate L K Advani, on the occasion of his 81st birthday tomorrow.

The party claimes it to be India's largest political portal on the Internet that would be unveiled by former Assam and Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha in the presence of party president Rajnath Singh.

The portal has about 150 videos, over 300 photographs and more than 700 pages of properly categorised textual content. This will be the only website of a political leader which is available in two languages, English and Hindi, a party spokesman said.

''The portal provides a comprehensive portrait of Mr Advani's long and illustrious political life spanning nearly six decades. It presents his views on various national issues, his articles, interviews and accounts of his campaign trail across the length and breadth of the country,'' the spokesman said and added that for the benefit of the media - national, regional as well as international - the portal provided latest information about Mr Advani's speeches and statements.
