7 dead, 6 injured in road accident
Rajkot, Nov 7 (UNI) Seven people were killed and six others seriously injured when their Jeep collided with a stationary truck near Tankara, about 45 km from here on the Rajkot-Morbi highway early today.
According to police sources, the jeep was on its way to Morbi when the accident took place. The truck was parked near the roadside due to puncture in one of the tyres, sources said.
The injured were admitted to Rajkot civil hospital.
Two of the seven deceased have been identified as Hetalba Mahendrasinh (18) and Davalsinh Sodha (17), the sources added.
