199 Haajis of J

Srinagar, Nov 7 (UNI) Another batch of 199 Haajis from Jammu and Kashmir left for Jeddah by a special flight from Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport here today, official sources said.

With this, the total number of Haajis, who left for Jeddah since the departure of pilgrims started from here on October 30, has risen to 1,529.

An estimated 8,000 pilgrims from the state would perform Haj-2008 this year in the holy cities of Mecca and Madina.
