Three killed in two separate road accidents

Chennai, Nov 6 (UNI) Three people, including a MBBS girl student, were crushed to death in two separate road accidents in the city.

Police said two people Md Fakruddin (25) and his friend Selvam (25) were killed when the two-wheeler, in which they were travelling was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer lorry near Tondiarpet cross-road junction in North Chennai around midnight.

The two were involved in PVC pipe manufacturing works.

They were returning to the city when the accident occurred, as the vehicle ran over them.

In the other accident, a MBBS student Ramya, travelling in a two-wheeler, died on the spot after she was hit by a vehicle from behind at Guindy this morning.
