Security tightened at Ram Janmabhoomi complex for Kosi mela

Ayodhya, Nov 6 (UNI) Security has been steppedup in the disputed Sri Ram Janmabhoomi complex here in view of the famous 'Chaudhan Kosi' mela that commenced today.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Gyaneshwar Tiwari said additional police force has been garrisoned on the complex for better security.

The policemen deployed on site included three additional SP, six Deputy SP, 20 sub-inspectors, 25 inspectors, 45 constables and one company Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC).

Security has also been heightened in and around the renowned Hanumangari, Kanak Bhawan and Nageshwar temples, he informed.
