Robbers loot Rs 30-40 lakh from GPO in Punjab

Jalandhar, Nov 6 (UNI) Unidentified robbers looted around Rs 30 to 40 lakh from the General Post Office (GPO) in the city.

According to police, the robbers enter into the post office at around midnight after overpowering the watchmen on duty.

The robbery came to light when the GPO opened this morning.

Further details were awaited and senior officials have reached the GPO.
