JMM leader shot dead, associate wounded at Simdega

Ranchi, Nov 6 (UNI) Unidentified assailants have shot dead a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and wounded his associate near Chaturda village under Bano police station in the district.

Officer-in-charge of Bano today said JMM leader Peter Bage and his associate were returning home last night when the miscreants attacked them on Bano-Manoharpur road.

Police were yet to ascertain the reason behind the killing, the sources said adding investigation was on.
