Gram Pradhan held for irregularities in NREGS

Pratapgarh, Nov 6 (UNI) Police today arrested Beejemau gram pradhan here after detection of irregularties in the Centre's effective National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS).

Rambhuvan Mishra was found guilty of conducting laxity in the scheme in Raniganj development block by the Rural development Commissioner Santosh Singh.

The accused gram pradhan has been apprehended and a case registered against him, police said.
