Digvijay moots legal action against MNS
Guna, MP, Nov 6 (UNI) Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh today said that legal action should be initiated to prevent elements such as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray indulging in condemnable actions against north Indians.
Mr Singh, who was on an Assembly poll-related tour of this district, told reporters here that the Centre was mulling legislation to check such ''anti-socials.'' Slamming Hindu outfits such as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad for fanning communal violence, he claimed that the Congress had wiped out social discrimation but parties like the Bharatiya Janata Party and Bahujan Samaj Party were dividing society along religious and casteist lines.
''The Congress will return to power in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP failed to fulfil its promises during its tenure,'' he said.
