CCL to hold Leadership Prog Dec 15

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) The Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL), in collaboration with Amitayus Consortium will hold its flagship Leadership Development Programme (LDP) here from December 15 ''to meet the need for developing future leaders.'' The five-day programme from CCL is intended for senior managers and will cost Rs 3.25 lakh.

The course targets executives from IT and manufacturing sectors, especially from Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai, with a maximum of 24 persons for each programme.

''With the global economic and political challenges, the issue of effective leadership is more pertinent and urgent and we have decided to hold the first Leadership Development Programme in South India because Asia, as the economic powerhouse of the new millennium, and India, in particular, as one of the engines of growth, will need to develop leaders who can navigate through the complex maze of issues.

''With Indian corporations assuming more presence in the global market place with its overseas acquisitions and investments and the influx of foreign investment into the country, leadership development in India had never before assumed such importance and we felt it was an opportune time to introduce the LDP here.'' CCL, which has five campus across globe, is looking for the sixth in India with an office at Pune over the next six months. We will have to decide on the location of campus,'' CCL Regional Director Anupam said.
