AP Haj Committee making all efforts for pilgrims

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (UNI)The Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee is making all efforts for smooth departure and return of Haj pilgrims from the State.

The Union Government through the Central Haj Committee had allotted a quota of 6,404 according to Muslim population in the State as per 2001 census, according to a release here today.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Energy, Coal and Minorities Welfare Mohammed Ali Shabbir was personally supervising all the arrangements for the smooth Haj operations in the State and in constant touch with Union Minister of Sate for External Affairs E Ahamed in this regard.
