Winter session to commence on December one

Mumbai, Nov 5 (UNI) The winter session of the Maharashtra legislature will start on December one at Nagpur, it was officially announced here today.

There was talk in political circles that the session would be further postponed till December 10. But at the state cabinet meeting it was clarified that the session dates remained unchanged.

The Nagpur session was earlier scheduled to start on November 17, but it was subsequently postponed in view of Assembly polls in neighbouring states.
