UP: Undertrial escapes, 2 constables suspended

Pratapgarh, Nov 5: Police today suspended two constables for dereliction of duty, which resulted in the escape of an undertrial in Kunda area here.

Police Superintendent Ajay Kumar said the inmate managed to flee last evening, when he was brought in the area for a court hearing.

He was under the custody of the guilty constables and facing murder and dacoity charges against him.
