Two sector officers suspended in Chhattisgarh

Jagdalpur, Nov 5 (UNI) Two sector officers were suspended with immediate effect for dereliction of duty in election work in Chhattisgarh's Jagdalpur assembly constituency.

Bastar District Returning Officer Manohar Singh Paraste said Deputy Director of Agriculture Jagroop Goel and Public Works Department Assistant Engineer J R Marawi were suspended for discharging election work in an inebriated condition.

Medical examination also confirmed consumption of liquor by the guilty.
