London, Nov 5 : Indian-born fashion designer Anand Jon's fate is now in the hands of a Los Angeles jury, for it has started deliberations on the charges of sexual assault levelled against him.
Jon is facing 27 counts, which includes rape and sexual assault, on a number of women - many of whom were models and underage at the time of the alleged attacks.
The incidents are said to have taken place between 2001 and 2007, reports the Daily Express.
Now, the jury of six men and six women are expected to deliver a verdict in the next few days.
If found guilty of all charges, the 34-year-old fashion designer will have to face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
