Former minister deserts Cong, joins BJS
Bhopal, Nov 5 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh Minister and state Congress spokesman Mukesh Nayak today joined the Uma Bharti-led Bharatiya Jan Shakti(BJS) after being denied ticket by Congress.
Mr Nayak, who will contest assembly election from Pawai constituency in Panna district on BJS ticket, took BJS membership in the presence of senior leaders at the party office here, party sources said.
A minister in Digvijay Singh-led Congress government in the state, Mr Nayak had a brief stint in the Maharshi Mahesh Yogi-supported ''Ajay Bharat Party'' before re-joining as Congress spokesman few months back.
