Cong will win 200 seats in LS polls: AICC Gen Secy

Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 5 (UNI) The All India Congress Committee(AICC) General Secretary and Vote for Note committee Chairman Y Kishore Chandra Suryanarayana Deo today predicted that the Congress would win 200 Lok Sabha Seats in the coming elections as the party base had improved with the introduction of Welfare schemes to suit all sections.

The National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme(NREGS) was being implemented in a good spirt and was yielding good results in rural areas of the country.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the party base would be improved in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Kerala.

Mr Deo said the elections would be held as per Schedule and the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre would continue its poll alliance with the parties now in its fold.

He also said the final report on the Vote for Note issue would be submitted on December 10.
