Assam mourns, outpouring grief continues

Guwahati, Nov 5 (UNI) Assam today officially mourned those who died in 30/10 serial blasts as siren blew all over the state and people stood where they were and prayed for the departed soul.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi led the state in mourning the death as spontaneous outpouring of protest, rallies, candle lighting are taking place in every nook and corner of the state.

The Congress took out a silent procession, the IPTA took out a large protest march and innumerable organization are carrying out various programes to mourn the death.

Such spontaneous outpouring has not been seen since the days of Assam Agitation.
