TRS activists throw eggs at Chiranjeevi

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 4 (UNI) Three activists of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) today caused a flutter throwing eggs at Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) Founder-President Chiranjeevi at Narasampet in the district demanding he announce a 'clear-cut stand' on formation of separate Telangana State.

Surprised by the sudden attack, the actor-turned-politician ducked even as a egg fell on his head.

Unfazed by the acts of the TRS activists, he said he would not be cowed down by such attacks.

''I have made my party's stand amply clear on the issue,'' he reiterated.

The three youths were taken into custody, police said.

Meanwhile, an enthusiastic activist, who climbed a palmyra tree near Modagudem and danced to the tunes of a song during the roadshow of the actor, was the cynosure of all eyes.

The actor, who was highly emotional all through his roadside meetings mounting a scathing attack on the ''corrupt'' Congress regime, enjoyed lighter moments and danced a little in tune with the music, much to the delight of his fans.
