Students turn violent after fatal accident in Kota
Kota, Nov 4 (UNI) Students of a private coaching institution, protesting against the death of a classmate in a road accident, today ransacked Municipal Corporation Office, damaged some vehicles and beat up officials.
A student on his way to attend classes was runover by a corporation dumper near Dushera Ground here this morning. This evoked violent reaction from fellow students who mobbed the Dushera Ground, Police sources said.
The mob held demonstration with the body for sometime and later stormed into the corporation office. They files, damaged furniture, computers and vandalised property there.
They also burnt two vehicles in the parking area and damaged some others.
Four people, including Municipal Corporation Commissioner Satish Bharuwal and a contractor, sustained injuries in the violence, the sources added.
