Sindhis protest BJP ticket to Sushama nominee
Bhopal, Nov 4 (UNI) Sindhi Samaj Sangharsh Samiti today protested against allotment of a BJP ticket to senior party leader Sushama Swaraj's nominee Jitendra Daga for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election from the state capital's Huzur constituency.
The Samiti alleged that Mr Daga was given ticket on Mrs Swaraj's recommendation overlooking the views of party workers and sympathisers.
Samiti spokesman Dharmendra Bulchandani told reporters here that the community would field Bhagwandas Sabnani as an independent if his candidature was not considered by the BJP.
Mr Sabnani had rejoined BJP recently after a brief stint in Uma Bharti-led Bhartiya Jan Shakti.
