RBD palm oil rises; Groundnut, oil steady

Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) RBD palm oil today became costlier, while groundnut and oil remained unchanged on moderate demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds (per quintal), Javas 70/80 and Javas 80/90 fell by Rs 15 and Rs 10 per quintal respectively, amid lack of fresh demand by stockists. Both castorseed Disa and Hyderabad also slashed by Rs 45 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, on low buying support by bulk consumers.

In oils (per 10 kg), RBD palm oil and sunflower exp advanced by Rs five and Rs 10 per ten kg respectively, on better buying support by stockists. Castor comm and rapeseed exp hiked by Rs 10 and Rs two per ten kg respectively.

No change was seen in de-oiled cakes, traders added.
