Karunanidhi praises Madurai e-gov concept

Madurai, Nov 4: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi was full of praises for Madurai district e-governance initiative for pension and has urged the people to share it with all treasuries. This unique concept cuts down time to about 5 minutes for all disbursals.

The software, designed and developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Madurai, with the support of Qudsia Gandhi, Principal Secretary, Personnel Administrative Reforms Department, has been sent to all other districts, Collector SS Jawahar told sources.
