BBC appoints Indu Shekher Sinha as Business Development Manager
Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) BBC World Service has appointed Indu Shekhar Sinha as Business Development Manager for India for a period of one year from November 2008.
Mr Sinha will manage BBC World Service's multimedia distribution and business development activities in India, said a BBC release issued here.
Indu Shekhar will replace Vineeta Dwivedi as the latter has been apppointed as Project Director for the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) Consortium for one year tenure.
As India Business Development Manager, Indu Shekhar will be responsible for developing the distribution of BBC World Service output in the country across a range of platforms including FM, broadband, DTH channel distribution system, mobile phones, satellite radio and TV, the release added.
BBC World Service's Asia Business Development Head Neil Curry said, ''Indu Shekhar brings a wealth of experience of the Indian media market as well as strong editorial values.
