All India police games begins in Punjab
Jalandhar, Nov 4 (UNI) Punjab Director General of Police NPS Aulakh today inaugurated the 57th All India Police Games at Jalandhar PAP Headquarters.
Competitions in various sports disciplines such as Basketball, Handball, Kabaddi and Vollyball would be held in the tournament, in which teams from 27 states police including Union Territories comprising more than 1300 participants would participate.
Mr Aulakh while inaugurating the Games, said that police department was taking special care of the players along with job guarantee and they were being given job placements on priority basis and special funds had been established to offer enough facilities to the players so that they could perform well in international level.
